First time at the track with the turbo

After owning the Porsche for almost 1 year, i have been hanging out to get it on the track!!

Well my chance came a couple of weeks ago, when i entered in an Inter-Marque Duel car sprint track event at Manfield Autocourse (about 2 hours North of my home). This is where two cars pair up and race together, and several pairs of cars are set off 10-15 seconds apart.

Great fun! and an excellent chance to push the car far harder than possible on the public road - and see what it can really do ;-)

Sitting on the dummy grid just after a run

It was great to see how the car handled when at the limit, when driving well within the limits on the public road it seems to have sooo much grip, this is a different story when on the track and going much harder through corners. If you get on the gas too early or too hard on corner exit, It Will loose traction!! (Yes i had a couple of moments) ;-)

I totally recommend anyone owning a performance car should get it on the track at least once to fully explore the potential and traits of your car in a safe/legal enviroment.
